    • MEMORIA DESCRIPTIVA

    • AZALPEN MEMORIA

XIX. Mende bukaerako estilo Neoklasikodun eraikina da. Espazio nagusiak 3.5 metroko garaiera eta 4x5 metrozko oina ditu. Eskailerak, itsatsitako gorputz oktogonal batean daude eta goiko partean dagoen terrazara eramaten dute

Esku hartzeak, mota ezberdineko arazoei konponbidea eman behar zuen : erabilera gainkartgak, patologiak, instalazioak…hala ere, programa berriaren txertaketa zen erronka zailena: ipuinen dorrea.

Eraikinak, ipuin kontaketak, txontxongilo antzezpenak eta exposizioak egiteko ez ezik, umeak ipuinak idazteko eta marrazteko toki gisa erabiltzeko aukera eman behar zen.

Ze forma dauka horrelako programa batek ? Nola egin hori 4x5 metroko eraikin batean ?

Inspirazioa, Saint – Exuperyko Printze Txikiaren liburu batetik etorri zen; orri bakoitzean sorpresak gordetzen dituen liburua.

Dorrearen barruak horrelakoa izan behar zuela pentsatu genuen: ezkutatutako sorpresaz beteriko espazio magikoa. Horretarako egurrezko trasdosado bat egin genuen, forma eta erabilera anitz egiteko aukera ematen duena.

    • DESCRIPTIVE MEMORY

It is a neoclassical building from the end of the 19th century. The main space has a 4x5 meter floor and it is 3,5 meter high. There is an eight-sided tower attached to it, wich contains the spiral staircase that leads to the terrace on top of the main space.

The Chapel intervention had to give answer to various technical problems such as use overload, pathologies, building systems… but the most difficult point to deal with, was the program itself: Tale tower.

The building  aims to function as a space suited for tale telling, puppet theater, exhibitions and as a workshop where children could draw or write tales.

What is this programs shape? And how do we distribute so large program through a 4x5 meters building?

Inspiration came from Saint-Exupery’s «The little prince» book, a book that contains surprises in each page.

We tought that the inside of the tale-telling tower had to be like that: a magical space full of hidden surprises. And in order to achieve this, it was designed a wood paneling over the walls that hides the furniture and allows all kind of different configurations.
